Four days/three nights

Day one

Lake Somerset Holiday Park is centrally located between Brisbane, Toowoomba and the Sunshine Coast. Lake Somerset Holiday Park is only a short drive from the country towns of Kilcoy, Esk and Woodford and is situated in the heart of the Valley of the Lakes.

In the afternoon try your luck at fishing on the lake. The lakes stocks Australian Bass, Silver Perch, Golden Perch (Yellow Belly), Saratoga, Mary River Cod, Eel-tailed catfish, Bony Bream and Red Chow.

Day two

Enjoy the morning at your own leisure, grab a bite to eat and relax by the lake.

Take a short drive through the ranges. They will take you to the old gold mininig and timber town of Jumna. For the adventurour clim the 241 steps of the Jimna Fire Tower. Standing 47 metres high the tower provides stunning panoramic, 360 degree views of the surrounding ranges. Relax and enjoy a bite to eat around the picnic facilities at the base of the tower.

Day three

Take the day to discover the great outdoors. Wander through cattle country and on to rolling hills where you experience the views of a lifetime with a scenic horse ride from Mountain Lake Adventures.

In the nightime unwind by the campfire and cook up a feed on the new camp kitchen.

Day four
